AK - Radiology Technologist (CT/XR) - $136 RATE

Essential Functions Provide radiographic examination of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation. Exercise professional judgement in performing procedures applying principles of radiation protection. Perform diagnostic medical radiography within department and other areas. Maintain patient records and files. Assume responsibility for departmental quality assurance program. Pursue continuing education. Transfer patient to and from radiology. Rotate shifts as required. Perform ancillary duties as requested by supervisor. Follow policies and procedures as set up by SEARHC Administration. Assist in general hygiene of department and self. Be able to work well in situations of stress. Take call and report to work within 20 minutes. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Flu vaccine required. ARRT CT and XR certification required. Must have high school diploma or GED, completion of a CT/XR training program, current ARRT in Radiography (CT, XR) and minimum 1 year of experience. The Radiologic Technologist must demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age‑appropriate care, knowledge of growth and development principles, ability to assess patient data, interpret information to identify patient needs, and provide care per unit policies and procedures. Should work with patients/employees of all cultural and religious backgrounds. Must perform within the Ethics and Compliance Program, detect, observe and report compliance variances.
