The Opportunity

A well-established and highly regarded multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Gainesville, Florida is seeking an experienced and board certified Anesthesiologist for a full time position. This is an outstanding opportunity offering exceptional compensation and a diverse and rewarding multi-specialty case mix in a clean and efficient outpatient surgical environment. Working alongside a team of five CRNAs you will supervise and perform blocks as needed with complete independence and no call obligations. Accepting candidates for immediate consideration.

Cases per day: 20-22
Number of ORs: 5
Team: 1 MDA + 5 CRNAs per day
MDA supervises and performs blocks as needed
Ultrasound guided blocks - required
Board Certified - required
No call
Credentialing timeframe: 30 days

Qualifications

MD or DO - Board Certified in Anesthesiology - required
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain prior to start - required
Ultrasound guided block proficiency - required
Experienced anesthesiologists only
Comfortable supervising CRNAs in a high volume ambulatory surgery center
Strong clinical judgment and commitment to exceptional patient outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
