This is a travel-forward Project Manager/Travel Superintendent opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the work, visiting active project sites, meeting with field teams, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and helping drive national construction programs from kickoff through closeout. This role requires up to 50% nationwide travel and you would be working on GC side. Travel is based on project milestones, site needs, client meetings, kickoff meetings, progress checks, punch walks, and closeout activity. Candidates should be comfortable with overnight travel and managing projects across multiple markets.

Role Snapshot

The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-site construction projects from kickoff through closeout. This person will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, vendors, materials, site activity, documentation, client updates, safety expectations, and project delivery.

This is a national travel role. The Project Manager should be comfortable traveling up to 50% nationwide to support project walks, kickoff meetings, progress checks, vendor and subcontractor coordination, client updates, punch walks, and closeout needs.

What You Will Own

• Manage commercial construction remodels, refreshes, rollouts, tenant improvements, or special projects from planning through closeout.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, labor, materials, vendors, subcontractors, field crews, and client expectations.
• Manage multiple active projects and jobsite priorities across different markets.
• Serve as a primary point of communication between clients, internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership.
• Review project scope, timelines, requirements, site conditions, documentation, and performance expectations.
• Track budgets, expenses, schedule changes, material needs, project risks, and field updates.
• Coordinate architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, internal teams, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor construction progress and hold regular project status meetings.
• Support permitting, inspections, closeout documentation, punch lists, quality control, and final deliverables.
• Identify and resolve project issues, disputes, delays, safety concerns, or client escalations before they become larger problems.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and report project performance to leadership and stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites nationwide for site walks, kickoff meetings, progress checks, client meetings, punch walks, and closeout needs.

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects in retail, restaurant, QSR, fast casual, grocery, convenience store, hospitality, banking, petroleum, tenant improvement, remodel, rollout, or similar fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing multiple projects, crews, sites, vendors, or subcontractors at the same time.
• Strong experience with budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, vendor coordination, and material coordination.
• Comfortable with up to 50% nationwide travel, including overnight travel based on project milestones and site needs.
• Ability to communicate directly with clients, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and internal leadership.
• Familiarity with MEP systems and the sequencing involved in commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of safety compliance, jobsite coordination, project sequencing, and quality expectations.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines, shifting priorities, travel schedules, and client-facing project updates.
• Strong organization, follow-through, problem-solving, documentation, and time management skills.
• Local to the Greater Los Angeles / Inland Empire area or based in Texas with the ability to support national project travel.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with high-volume multi-site rollouts.
• Experience with fast-paced remodels, refreshes, rebrands, or quick-turn construction projects.
• Experience managing 8 to 10+ concurrent projects or jobsite priorities.
• Experience with commercial kitchen remodels, hotel room refreshes, retail upgrades, QSR projects, grocery projects, convenience store projects, banking projects, petroleum projects, or similar customer-facing work.
• Experience using Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, or similar project management tools.
• Experience supporting client walkthroughs, site assessments, punch walks, closeout, and final project delivery.
• Software: Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and related construction project management tools are helpful.

Compensation and Benefits

Base compensation range: $100,000 to $145,000
