We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.Department:Job Description Summary:Position ResponsibilitiesPerform quality pulmonary function studies following established guidelines.Demonstrates functional knowledge of all equipment used in the Pulmonary Function Laboratory.Interprets results of pulmonary function tests in order to ascertain technical accuracy and patient cooperation.Performs daily quality checks on equipment as scheduled and document in maintenance logs.Demonstrates knowledge of trouble shooting techniques of all Pulmonary Function and Bronchoscopy equipment to ensure patient safety and accuracy of results.Assist physician during bronchoscopy procedure following established guidelines.Prepares bronchoscopy suite, equipment and supplies and ensures all equipment needed is available and in good working order.Schedules procedures and ensures that patient is transported and medicated according to schedule.Maintains adequate inventory of supplies, medications, and trays for proper levels and dates of expiration.Demonstrates ability and knowledge of all techniques through clinical competencies at least annually.Attends staff meetings.
