Accounting Manager

Pride Health is hiring an Accounting Manager to support our client's healthcare facility. Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Location: Remote Job Type: Contract Contract Length: 8 months (possibility of extension) Pay Range: $32/hr- $37/hr *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties:

• Lead assigned portions of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Review and approve complex journal entries and accounting transactions.
• Oversee reconciliation of revenue, accounts receivable, eliminations, and intercompany accounts.
• Ensure alignment of revenue and membership reporting across multiple systems, including RAM, ECAP, and UHC reporting.
• Review variance analyses, investigate discrepancies, and facilitate timely issue resolution.
• Maintain compliance with SOX requirements and internal control standards, ensuring audit-ready documentation.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting
• License(s):
• Certification(s):
• Years of experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
