Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Bright Now! Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our Mission Viejo team. The PCC plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience by serving as the primary point of contact for patients, managing front office operations, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the clinical team.

Monday-Saturday 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm-(closed Thursday) bilingual would be great but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth, ensuring a positive first impression
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and patient flow efficiently
• Verify insurance coverage, process patient information, and explain benefits clearly
• Collect co-payments, balances, and maintain accurate financial records
• Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients
• Coordinate communication between dentists, hygienists, and patients
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies
• Support office production goals by promoting treatment acceptance and patient retention
• Handle patient concerns and provide excellent customer service at all times

Qualifications

• At least one year related experience
• Knowledge of dental terminology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting

$20-$23/hr
