Carnaby Clubs is a bright, welcoming indoor playground, members club, and café for families with children ages 0–10. We're building a space where kids can play, explore, create, and discover something new every day. We're looking for creative, energetic educators who love working with children and want to help bring our programming to life.

About the Role

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to lead engaging, hands-on art experiences for children at Carnaby Clubs. The ideal candidate has experience teaching toddlers or K-3 children, understands process-based art education, and believes that creativity is about exploration, not just the finished product.

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate art classes and workshops for children.

• Introduce children to different materials, techniques, and creative processes.

• Design process-art activities that encourage experimentation, self-expression, and imagination.

• Adapt activities for different ages and developmental stages.

• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and safe art environment.

• Collaborate with the Carnaby team on seasonal workshops, special events, and programming.

• 5+ years of experience teaching art, preferably to K–5 students.

• Strong familiarity with process art and child-centered creative education.

• Experience managing small groups of children.

• Warm, patient, energetic, and comfortable engaging with parents.

• Ability to independently plan and deliver classes.

• Background in art education, fine arts, or elementary education preferred.
