Production Supervisor II

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Orlando, FL. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily assembly line operations, managing mechanical and electrical assemblers in soldering, general assembly, and testing processes within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. You will lead production scheduling, manage status reporting, and drive quality, safety, and output performance across multiple work cells.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and daily direction to mechanical/electrical assemblers and technicians on the production line.
Manage production schedules to ensure operational goals are met regarding quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
Conduct hiring, training, performance evaluations, and coaching to build a high-performing work culture.
Maintain visual management tools, including Key Performance Indicator (KPI) boards and progress charts, to monitor output and prioritize floor actions.
Collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Associate degree in Electronics, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (electronics, defense, or complex assembly preferred).
Technical Skills: Strong background in electronics, solder assembly, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles.
Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MRP systems.
Industry Knowledge: Experience or familiarity with RF filters, oscillators, and crystals is a plus.
Clearance & ITAR: Must be eligible to work with ITAR data without a license and possess the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach for extended periods.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable working on-site in a manufacturing environment with standard PPE.
