Location: Orlando, FL area (worksite in DeLand, FL)
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, onsite, with shift coverage based on laboratory needs
Pay/Compensation: $78,000 – $107,600 per year

About the Role
A leading national kidney care provider known for patient-centric care is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to lead a high-volume clinical testing laboratory. This supervisor will guide a team of technologists and support staff while keeping quality, accuracy, and turnaround on target. Core Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laboratory operations, staffing, and workflow across assigned shifts
• Ensure accurate, timely test results and adherence to quality control procedures
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state laboratory regulatory standards
• Train, schedule, and evaluate technologists and laboratory support staff
• Investigate testing errors and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Oversee instrument maintenance, validation, and inventory of supplies and reagents
• Prepare the laboratory for inspections and internal quality audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related science
• Active Florida Clinical Laboratory license at the supervisor level
• Several years of clinical laboratory experience with lead or supervisory duties
• Working knowledge of CLIA and CAP quality and regulatory requirements
• Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work onsite and support shift coverage as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Experience in a high-volume reference or specialty laboratory
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and automation lines
• Prior experience leading inspection readiness efforts
• Lean or continuous improvement training
