R&D Test Engineer

Accentuate Staffing is currently recruiting for an R&D Test Engineer for a leading biotechnology company in the RTP area. This is a 12-month contract opportunity working 100% onsite. The R&D Test Engineer will support research and development through hands-on testing, troubleshooting, test fixture development, prototyping, and data analysis. Biomedical engineering or related medical device/biotech experience is strongly preferred. Responsibilities: Perform manual and automated testing and accurately document test results Assist with the development of test methods, protocols, and reports Troubleshoot test systems and equipment Design, manufacture, and assemble test systems and fixtures Analyze and summarize test data and communicate findings Support design and prototyping activities Work with engineering and scientific teams to improve testing methods and processes Maintain testing equipment, supplies, and general laboratory organization Follow appropriate safety procedures when working around human tissue, cells, or related materials Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required Hands-on testing, troubleshooting, prototyping, or engineering laboratory experience Experience with 3D CAD and ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Electrical aptitude, including ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel Strong communication and technical documentation skills Biomedical Engineering degree or medical device, biotechnology, or life sciences experience preferred Experience with test fixtures, verification/validation, MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW, Arduino, or similar tools is a plus Must be comfortable working 100% onsite in RTP #J-18808-Ljbffr Accentuate Staffing
