Senior Specialist to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts (US-MA), United States (US).Development & Supporting of Personal Lines Applications including Mainframe, Policy Managment system and Ratabase Perform Technical Research and design solutions for the teams on New Requirements and Enhancements to the above-mentioned applications. Assist with planning and testing of application, configuration and database changes. Create, develop, and track solutions to application errors reported Analyze production issues to determine root cause and provide solutions to the development team Perform compliance and audit functions which includes meeting with auditors and presenting application functions and reports being audited.Analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing new projects in Client applications such as PMS, Ratabase.Work closely with business analysts/stakeholders to understand the business requirements.Review business requirements provided by the business and provided inputs from development perspective.Lead the team in Developing application by following Tech Design and Technical specification documents using NTT Data’s Development Lifecycle model.Work as subject matter expert on Client’s Policy Management System (PMS) and Tapsales system.Work on developing software applications in the Ratabase and integrates it to Policy Management System (PMS) and TapSales system.Involved in providing estimates for all deliverables of new projects as a subject matter expert and acts as an escalation point for the team in the event of an issue arising during development, following the escalation process.Work with Architects for the complete impact analysis on all the current and legacy systems.Work with Business analysts and architects for the database changes required in Gold Standard Repository application for new projects.Perform application level configuration and integration changes and core business logic changes utilizing programming languages including COBOL, JCL, SAS, DB2, CICS, and Ratabase. Test and document all code changes. This includes unit testing, component integration testing and system integration testing.Provide support during quality analyst testing and user testing for effective progress of the projects.Responsible for fixing the defects that are raised while testing the work requests delivered in test regions.Provide technical design and technical specification documents and project transition to baseline team once the project is delivered to production.Responsible to support the application for any Critical Production Issues.Generating Ad-hoc reports as per the Business requests.Supported Claims and Billing applications.Provide Trainings to the new team members in both Domain and Technology.
