Surgical Technologist

Required Education: Surgical Technologist: graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. If LPN in surgical Technologist role: graduate of an accredited LPN program

Preferred Education: Associates of Applied Science in Surgical Technology

Required License: Surgical Technologist: Current BCLS certification. For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire.

LPN in Surgical Technologists role: current BCLS certification and current NC license. For individuals hired after August 1, 2007, certification is to be obtained within one year of date of hire.

Required Experience : Surgical Technologist: clinical experience in training program LPN in Surgical Technologist role: one-year experience in a Surgical Technologist role in an applicable acute care operating room setting or clinical experience in Surgical Technologist training program
