Plant Controller

Movement Search and Delivery is partnering with a Tier 1 Auto Company in Oklahoma City, OK, to identify and evaluate a Plant Controller. On‑Site / Hybrid / Remote On‑Site Salary Goals $115,000 – $130,000 Base Salary + 10% Bonus About the role Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Plant Controller to lead plant‑level accounting and finance activities. This role will partner closely with operations leadership to drive profitability, improve manufacturing performance, and support strategic decision‑making. What You Will Do Lead all plant accounting and financial reporting activities Manage cost accounting, inventory valuation, and manufacturing analysis Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to identify savings opportunities Develop and maintain product costing models and support pricing decisions Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and monthly financial results Partner with plant leadership to improve operational efficiency and profitability Support new business quoting and capital investment analysis Oversee the month‑end close and ensure accurate financial reporting Calculate and maintain burden rates, labor rates, and manufacturing cost standards Manage inventory controls and support physical inventory processes Lead and develop the local accounting team Provide financial guidance and decision support to plant and corporate leadership What You Need To Succeed Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting or finance experience within a manufacturing environment Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting experience Experience supporting plant operations and manufacturing leadership teams Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills Preferred Experience Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environments About Movement Search and Delivery MOVEMENT is a national executive search firm that connects companies with exceptional talent across engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, information technology, sales, legal, and human resources.
