Junior Staff Accountant

Junior Accountant Location: Greater Fort Lauderdale area Reports To: Controller We’re partnering with a growing organization to identify a Junior Accountant to support their corporate accounting function. This is a strong opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands‑on exposure across GL, month‑end, and financial reporting in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain the general ledger and record daily financial transactions Perform bank reconciliations and ensure account balances are accurate Support accounts payable processing, invoice review, and approvals Maintain and update vendor records Prepare and post journal entries during month-end close Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and variance analysis Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance Support fixed asset tracking, audits, and accruals Identify and resolve discrepancies across accounts and transactions Contribute to budgeting, resource planning, and tax‑related initiatives Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field 1–3 years of accounting or relevant internship experience preferred Exposure to ERP systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
