Our company is seeking an Accountant to work with our Controller. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multitask is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is a strategic thinker, goal oriented, resourceful, a good problem solver and well organized. Accuracy and assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is a key success to this position.

** This is a remote position, however you must live in Broward or Palm Beach County. **

** Job Duties include but not limited to: **

• Manage daily data entry
• Recording journal entries
• Post daily payments
• Post vendor invoices
• Customer invoicing
• Account Reconciliation
• Assist with Internal Reporting
• Assist with Month End Close process
• Monitor and follow up past due accounts
• Assist the Controller with ad hoc accounting
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Other duties as assigned

** Job Requirements **

• Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance
• Strong data entry
• Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
• Strong Time Management is essential
• Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced challenging office environment
• Experience researching accounting issues a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Intermediate Excel skills required

This is a remote position, however you must live in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County.
