Assistant Professor Of Nursing, Tenure Track

Dominican University New York's Division of Nursing seeks an outstanding candidate for a full-time, tenure-track nursing faculty position in our CCNE-accredited program. The standard teaching load is 24 credits per academic year.

This position will primarily support our Evening and Weekend nursing programs; however, the successful candidate may teach across undergraduate nursing programs, including traditional daytime courses, based on program needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility in teaching across a variety of formats and schedules, including day, evening, and weekend offerings.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree from an accredited college or university (exceptional candidates enrolled in a doctoral program may be considered)
• Teaching experience in Nursing higher education—didactic and/or clinical nursing course experience is preferred; nursing simulation and simulation-based education is also highly desirable
• At least five (5) years of clinical experience
• Unencumbered current New York RN license
