We are looking for a hands-on, proactive Shipping Supervisor to lead our outbound operations and support a smooth, accurate, and customer-focused flow of materials into our facility. If you excel at organizing work, training others, and running efficient processes, this could be the next great step in your Blue Diamond career.
What You’ll Lead
In this role, you will:
- Direct the daily activities of the shipping team to ensure all outbound shipments are prepped, inspected, documented, and loaded accurately and on time.
- Operate and train team members on safe forklift and skid steer operation to support receiving and warehouse workflow.
- Coach and train receiving employees to follow SOPs, standard work, and safe operating practices.
- Partner with Quality, Inventory, and Operations to maintain FIFO accuracy, proper storage, clean work areas, and efficient staging.
- Identify process improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and space utilization.
- Maintain forklift certification and safely operate forklifts, skid steers, and other equipment as needed.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
- 2–4 years of warehouse experience , preferably in shipping, inventory, or material handling.
- Prior supervisory, lead, or trainer experience and enjoys developing others.
- Can train and hold others accountable to safe forklift and skid steer operation.
- Holds a valid driver’s license and can obtain/maintain forklift certification .
- Communicates clearly, stays organized, and prioritizes in a fast-moving environment.
- Models a positive attitude and strong customer urgency.
Physical & Environmental Expectations
This is an active warehouse leadership role—regular lifting up to 50 lbs, equipment operation, climbing, walking, and working in both indoor and outdoor areas.
