What You’ll Do As the accountant, you’ll refine the the day-to-day accounting processes by preparing for audits, reconciliations, general accounting and balancing the ledger. The Staff Accountant serves as an integral part of the accounting team and is responsible for maintaining a high level of production while consistently producing accurate output. This position will work closely with the department manager. In This Role, You’ll Also Assist the department manager in reconciling and preparing supporting schedules for month end close Prepare AR reconciliations Reconcile monthly bank statements Reconcilie various general ledger accounts Cross train on critical duties to provide back up to the Manager of Accounting Budget and forecast Prepare financial information requests Update and develop various schedules as necessary during year-end auditing period Assist with additional accounting related functions as needed What You Bring Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or Business At least two years’ experience in accounting or a related field Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing Self-motivated individual with strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and as a team member Ability to multitask Must have strong attention to detail and flexibility Recognize the need for follow-thru and follow-up Ability to work within specified timeframe and meet deadlines Recognize and maintain confidentiality of work materials as appropriate Highly skilled and proficient in Microsoft Excel required Why choose us?
