Production Supervisor

Ocean Spray is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead plant teams and drive results, focusing on continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration across departments. Responsibilities Lead team members by articulating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; enforce systems, policies, and procedures. Train, develop, coach, and appraise team members. Maintain workflow by monitoring process steps; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions; fostering cooperation within and between departments. Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results through shift production summaries. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, directing personnel on the use of control points, equipment, and resources; ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Develop plans that support exceeding daily standard production rates while meeting safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Lead/support assigned teams in continuous improvement projects. Perform administrative tasks such as vacation/payroll/discipline/performance review management; help monitor the labor and operations budget. Provide overall leadership to operations teams (packaging, line maintenance, materials handling and processing), managing the production schedule, planned and unplanned events, performance management, training, administrative responsibilities, budget management, maintenance support, process control coordination, quality assurance, reliability, sanitation, and positive employee/labor relations.
