Job Summary: Provide essential support in primary health care and patient management through administrative duties tailored to the practice's needs. This role requires adaptability and a commitment to excellent patient service.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Exhibit strong computer proficiency to manage daily tasks efficiently.
- Maintain courteous and professional telephone communication with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
- Operate front office equipment with confidence and accuracy.
- Ensure medical records are maintained in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes smoothly and effectively.
- Collect patient payments accurately and prepare deposits following protocol.
- Uphold strict confidentiality regarding patient information at all times.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the practice.
Education and Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or Nursing Program is required.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, full-time (40 hours per week).
This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
