Location: Outpatient Clinic – Cary, NC
Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Office / Patient Services Specialist to join our team in Cary, NC. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent service and supporting our clinical team. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new and returning patients
- Collaborate with the billing department for insurance verification, authorizations, and billing coordination
- Work with the home care scheduler to manage appointments
- Educate patients and families on insurance coverage and the scheduling process
- Collect copays and discuss financial arrangements with patients/families
- Support therapists with patient-related tasks as needed
- Oversee daily front office operations and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in administrative support and medical office scheduling
- Ability to work until 6 PM Monday–Thursday and 8 AM–5 PM on Fridays
- Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth, WebPT)
- Proficient computer skills and strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Knowledge of insurance systems (Medicare, Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Docs, Calendar)
