IT Support Technician (Field & Client Services)

Position Overview

Atlantic-IT.net is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite and remote support for our clients. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience who enjoys solving technical issues, working directly with end users, and traveling to client locations throughout the local area.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support for client environments.
• Troubleshoot and support Windows, Microsoft 365, Apple/Mac, and iOS devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with new user setup, workstation deployments, and technology upgrades.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate service tickets.
• Deliver excellent customer service while communicating effectively with clients.
• Escalate complex technical issues when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ Certification required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on IT support experience.
• Minimum 2 years of onsite/field support experience.
• Experience supporting:
• • Microsoft 365
  • Windows operating systems
  • Apple macOS
  • iPhone/iPad (iOS/iPadOS)
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working for an MSP or supporting multiple client environments.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Microsoft or Apple certifications are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20-$28 per hour based on experience.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel regularly to client sites throughout the local area.
• Ability to lift and move technical equipment as needed.

Target Candidate: A hands-on Help Desk Technician, Desktop Support Technician, or Junior Field Technician with 2-5 years of experience. This is not a senior-level engineering role and is best suited for someone looking to continue building their technical skills while supporting a variety of client environments.
