Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring Level I Trauma experience and a valid IL RN license, with night shifts and every other weekend availability. Requirements Active IL RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS Preferred certifications: TNCC and CPI Teaching hospital experience preferred 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Responsibilities Emergency Department (ED) setting at a teaching hospital Patient ratio of 1:4 Prior experience in an urban, Level I Trauma ED required; teaching hospital experience preferred Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30) Every other weekend required Floating required Block scheduling is not available Charting via Epic 13-week contract First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the contract — all scheduling requests must be submitted upfront All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
