We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join a high school team in South San Francisco, CA for the first semester of the 20262027 school year . This position will provide coverage for a leave through approximately the end of January , with the possibility of extending through the remainder of the school year. Schedule: Full-Time Dates: 202627 First Semester through approximately January 2027 Potential Extension: May extend through the end of the school year Setting: High School Caseload: Extensive Support Needs (ESN) Number of Positions: 1 Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to high school students with extensive support needs. Develop, implement, and monitor student IEP goals. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials based on individual student needs. Provide academic, functional, behavioral, communication, and life-skills support as appropriate. Monitor student progress and maintain required Special Education documentation. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related-service providers, General Education teachers, families, and administrators. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Requirements Active California CTC Education Specialist credential authorizing Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) . Experience working with students requiring extensive levels of support preferred. High school Special Education experience preferred. Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34.
