Join Our Team as a Child Psychiatrist
Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care in child behavioral health units, along with offering concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be flexible or set regularly, depending on the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient rounds and address acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the involvement of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
- Respond to calls and assist psychiatric residents in managing cases.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Provide supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
Duties may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and may also involve working with residents and/or students in a training environment when available.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
