Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System (MHS) in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join The Liver Institute at our flagship campus in Dallas, TX to work collaboratively with our team of physicians.

This position is ideal for a motivated, compassionate provider to provide comprehensive care for patients who are in need of a liver transplant .

This outpatient position will focus on surgical support, pre- and post-operative management, patient education, and continuity of care. The APP will play a vital role in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the overall growth of our transplant team.

Position Highlights:

• Full time position to provide outpatient care under physician supervision, including new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and post-operative management
• Manage patient care plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide patient/family education
• Collaborate closely with transplant surgeons, nursing staff, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Monday – Friday, 8a-5p
• No call/weekends

Required Qualifications:

1. Board-certified Physician Assistant in the State of Texas
2. Active Texas medical license
3. Bilingual preferred, but not required
4. Minimum 1 – 2 years of in a complex environment: ICU, Transplant/Transplant floor, multi specialty experience
5. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
