Contract | Rotating Shifts | Day: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM / Night: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM | Set schedules posted 4 weeks in advance | Every other weekend required | Holidays worked only if they fall on a scheduled workday

Key Responsibilities

• Administer breathing treatments across all inpatient areas, the emergency department, pediatric inpatient unit, and family birthing unit; may be called to initiate CPAP on infants
• Perform ventilator management, including ICU settings with up to 8–9 vents at a time, using Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, Avea, BiPAP V60, and Vapotherm equipment
• Draw and run ABG samples and perform inpatient and outpatient EKGs within assigned coverage areas
• Assist with intubation procedures; independent intubation is not required
• Conduct outpatient bronchoscopies in a procedural setting
• Float within the facility only; no critical care transports outside the facility are required

Required Qualifications

• Active Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential via NBRC or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS certification required
• ER, ICU, and inpatient adult experience required
• A valid, unexpired driver's license must be submitted with all applications
• Any licensing history issues must be disclosed at the time of submission
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential via NBRC
• STABLE certification preferred
• Pediatric and Labor & Delivery (L&D) inpatient experience preferred; facility is willing to train on pediatrics
• Familiarity with Puritan Bennett 840, Hamilton C1, Avea, BiPAP V60, and Vapotherm high-flow systems
