Exciting Night Shift Opportunity in MedSurg Nursing!

Job Description:


- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - MedSurg Unit
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (1845-0715)
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week
- Unit Size: 52 beds
- Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:4 on days and nights

Key Responsibilities:


- Deliver high-quality patient care to diverse populations, including those with:
- Pneumonia
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Renal disease
- Sepsis
- Stroke


- Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.
- Work alongside:
- 2 Charge Nurses (no patient assignments)
- Dedicated Break Nurses
- Assist with patient care tasks as delegated by CNAs (1:7 ratio days, 1:11 ratio nights).

Qualifications:


- Required Certification: BLS
- New graduates are welcomed - no previous travel experience necessary!
- Must verify telemetry rhythms (Tele Tech will provide rhythms).

Work Environment:


- Supportive and family-oriented team atmosphere.
- Orientation includes 2 twelve-hour shifts to ensure a smooth transition.
- Floating may be required within skillset to Surgical Floor & PCU.

Additional Information:


- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color scrubs (not provided).
- Weekend and holiday requirements based on staffing needs.
- No call or standby requirements.
- Rotation floating if necessary.
