Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry observation and medical-surgical care
• Float within scope of care and practice as needed
• Complete full 13-week contract length, including a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month
• Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health records system

Required Qualifications

• Valid Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Current NIHSS certification required (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Travel candidates only – local candidates will not be considered (within 75-mile radius)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across units within scope of practice
• Strong telemetry monitoring and interpretation skills
