You’ll gain valuable experience supporting the financial operations of a growing government contractor and expand your knowledge of the full contract lifecycle with an organization that has a strong history of developing their people and promoting from within.Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Contract AdministrationPrepare and review customer invoices for Cost-Plus, Time & Materials (T&M), and fixed-price contractsValidate labor, subcontractor, and other direct costs for billing accuracy and contract compliancePerform billing reconciliations and analyze unbilled receivablesAssist with final invoices, final vouchers, and contract closeout documentationMonitor contract funding limits and help resolve billing discrepanciesPartner with Contracts and Program Management to ensure timely, accurate billingCorporate AccountingSupport month-end and year-end close activitiesPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist with balance sheet analyses and financial reportingSupport external audits and annual reporting requirementsMaintain accounting records in line with internal controls and company policiesParticipate in process improvement initiatives across accounting and financeGovernment Contract Accounting & ComplianceAssist with preparation of annual Incurred Cost Submissions (ICS)Support indirect rate calculations, reconciliations, and true-up analysesApply FAR Part 31 cost principles in reviewing allowable and unallowable costsPrepare schedules and supporting documentation for DCAA audits and compliance reviewsAssist with final indirect rate settlements and contract closeout activitiesHelp maintain government accounting policies, procedures, and controls
