Job Description
We are seeking Water Resources Engineers with 0-10+ years of experience to join our team in supporting green infrastructure and community redevelopment projects around Baltimore City, Maryland. In this role, you will contribute to the design of green infrastructure projects, including stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site design plans. A strong knowledge of stormwater hydrology and hydraulics is essential. Experienced candidates with BMP design and experience in preparing construction documents using AutoCAD or Microstation software are preferred. A passion for promoting innovative and equitable urban design solutions for community greening and revitalization projects is highly valued.
Responsibilities

• Support the design of green infrastructure projects.
• Prepare stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and site design plans.
• Travel to and work from our office in Baltimore City, Maryland.

Essential Skills

• Civil engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience in site development, stormwater management, and hydrology.
• Familiarity with hydrologic and hydraulic models like TR-55, TR-20, or HEC-RAS.
• Strong computer and mathematical skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Biological, Agricultural, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering required.
• Master's degree, EIT, or PE designation is a plus.
• Knowledge of stormwater practice design and drainage area delineation.
• Willingness to learn the CityScape process.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
