Responsibilities As a Fire Protection Engineer, you will work alongside a robust staff of experienced and licensed engineers to develop and use your skills and experience to deliver and complete challenging and engaging building projects across many markets, including Commercial, Federal, Mission‑Critical, and Advanced Facilities in the United States, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The Engineer will direct the activities of design staff to produce drawings and calculations for fire sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm and mass notification, and building/life safety codes analysis. Previous design experience is a plus; all interested in a career in fire protection engineering are encouraged to apply. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology, or a related field At least 10 years of related experience United States citizenship Preferred qualifications Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards Willingness to travel to job sites around the world (approximately 10‑15% travel) Experience in fire sprinkler, suppression, and fire alarm system layout utilizing hydraulic calculation programs and knowledge of NFPA Codes and International Building and Fire Codes PE in any U.S. state, having passed the fire protection engineering examination Benefits and Compensation Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you and the things you care about. The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $193,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
