Senior Estimator (Residential & Commercial Glass)

Full-Time | Exempt | Field-Based

Glass Doctor of Sioux Falls is seeking an experienced full-time Senior Estimator to lead our residential and commercial glass estimating efforts. Exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys working directly with customers, developing business relationships, and managing projects from initial consultation through project handoff. As a key member of our team, you'll work with homeowners, contractors, builders, property managers, and commercial customers while helping drive the continued growth of one of the region's leading glass companies.

What You Do!

• - Meet with residential and commercial customers to evaluate project needs
• - Perform field measurements for windows, storefronts, shower enclosures (80% measures), mirrors, commercial doors, and specialty glass
• - Prepare accurate estimates and professional proposals
• - Present pricing and project solutions while exercising independent judgment
• - Follow up on estimates and convert opportunities into sold projects
• - Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, property managers, restoration companies, and commercial clients
• - Coordinate projects with operations, dispatch, and installation teams
• - Maintain estimate pipeline, customer records, and sales forecasting using ServiceTitan

What you need!

• - 2-3+ years of measuring/estimating exp in commercial & storefront glass required
• - 2-3+ years of measuring/estimating exp for showers required
• - Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• - Strong measuring, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• - Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building abilities
• - Strong organizational and project management skills
• - Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite & CRM software systems (ServiceTitan a plus); fluent with GDS software commercial/storefront or Smart Glazier exp; CADkey/shower design software exp; CRL software beneficial.
• - Valid driver's license, insurable driving record

Physical Requirements

• - Ability to perform field measurements at residential and - commercial job sites
• - Climb ladders and access construction sites
• - Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• - Travel throughout the Sioux Falls area & extended region for customer appointments
