Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) for our Adolescent Neuropsych Unit. Ideal candidates will have experience working with a neuropsych population due to the high acuity of this unit. The RN may be required to work as the charge RN during a shift without additional pay for those hours.

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to adolescent patients with behavioral health issues.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement care strategies.
Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records using the Sunrise charting system.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Support verbal and non-verbal communication for patients across various developmental stages.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in behavioral health preferred.
BLS certification required.
Experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred.
Experience with the Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR system is desirable.
