Outside Sales Representative (OSR) / Account Manager

About The Role Tejas Equipment Rentals is looking for a driven, self‑motivated Outside Sales Rep to grow our customer base and manage accounts across an assigned territory. You'll be the face of Tejas in the field — building relationships, matching customers with the right rental equipment, and closing deals that keep our business moving. This is a road‑based role with real earning potential for someone who thrives on independence and results. What You’ll Do Own your territory: travel to meet existing and prospective customers face‑to‑face Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships Hit and exceed rental sales goals by landing new accounts and retaining existing ones Present equipment solutions tailored to each customer’s specific job needs Negotiate and close sales deals in line with company guidelines Coordinate with our dispatch, drivers, and operations teams to ensure smooth service and delivery Track leads, accounts, and sales activity accurately Stay current on competitor pricing and market trends What We’re Looking For 4+ years of outside sales experience High school diploma or equivalent required Strong negotiation, networking, and customer service skills Self‑starter who can manage a territory independently Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record Must be 24 years of age or older Compensation Earn up to 4% commission on rentals -- the more you grow your territory, the more you make.
