The CDL OTC Driver role is designed for experienced solo drivers who specialize in long haul routes across interstate and national destinations. This position involves regular overnight trips with flexible route assignments, requiring strong time management and customer interaction skills. Drivers play a crucial role in ensuring cargo safety, vehicle readiness, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct long haul driving across varied interstate routes
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Handle cargo safely and securely during loading and unloading
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Accurately document driving logs and trip details
• Engage professionally with customers during delivery and pickup
• Effectively manage time to meet scheduled trip deadlines

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in commercial driving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in commercial driving and long haul operations
• Proficiency in vehicle inspection and maintenance checks
• Strong time management and route planning abilities
• Knowledge of safety compliance standards
• Effective communication and customer service skills
