NOW HIRING a COOK FOR A SMALL CHILDCARE CENTER I KANSAS CITY KANSAS

PART-TIME Morning Shift Monday-Friday (15-20 hours per week)

Do you love cooking and have a passion for working with young children? Join our warm, caring energetic Team. We're searching for a dedicated and reliable cook to prepare nutritious, kid friendly meals and snacks for our children, while maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. Must pass Background/Fingerprints Check.

Responsibilities

• Meal Planning, preparing and serving meals to young children .
• Food safety ensuring food is prepared and stored according to guidelines.
• Maintain inventory and place food orders as needed.
• Accommodate children's dietary restrictions or allergies.
• Kitchen maintenance includes cleaning, sanitizing, removing trash, organizing groceries, preparing food orders, menu planning, ordering menu supplies.
• Attractive Food Presentation

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a cook in a license childcare or school setting.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Knowledge of child nutrition and food safety practices.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and work independently.
• Must pass background check and meet state/federal and locate license requirements.
• Ability to pay attention to details.
