Mechanical Designer

Job Description Client is currently seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Raleigh, NC office. This position involves mechanical engineering design for educational, government, healthcare, and industrial facilities , including the development of plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will be experienced in MEP building systems design and comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
This is a Permanent position that is required to be fully on site.

Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems for building projects, including HVAC and related building systems.
- Develop plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Produce detailed engineering drawings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate design efforts with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP projects, with a focus on mechanical system design.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP is required.
- Experience producing mechanical design documents for buildings using Revit MEP and AutoCAD preferred.
- Plumbing design experience is preferred
