Position: CT Technologist

Shift Details:

Nights: 3-12's (7 PM - 7:30 AM), Every 3rd Weekend

Mock Schedule:

• Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Friday
• Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday

Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations and assisting physicians with invasive CT procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing and documenting diagnostic CT examinations as ordered by an authorized healthcare provider.
• Ensuring appropriate handoff and continuity of care communication to the next caregiver.
• Analyzing CT examinations for quality control purposes.
• Preparing completed examinations for interpretation by the radiologist.
• Operating all CT and related equipment as well as facility-based computer systems.
• Administering oral and intravenous contrast media as directed by a physician and in accordance with established protocols.
• Transporting, moving, and positioning patients safely and appropriately.
• Assisting physicians with special procedures that utilize CT technology.
• Participating in quality assurance and quality control activities related to CT.

Job Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in both radiography and CT.
• Maintaining licensure requirements with the state of Ohio.
• Current annual CPR certification / When Seconds Count certification.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a diagnostic imaging setting preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including patients.
• Ability to perform sedentary work, involving mostly sitting, but with the possibility of walking or standing for brief periods.
