Landscape Sales Associate

Reports to: OwnerSalespersonThe PositionTheSales Representative works to expand and grow our commercialand residential landscape management, landscape & irrigation design build,landscape lighting, and holiday lighting business by selling new services toexisting clients and pursuing new clients.In addition, the Sales Representative maintains anongoing relationship with customers to encourage networking and repeatbusiness. This individual will perform activitiessuch as prospecting, leading sales opportunities, generating company awarenessthrough association involvement, and other activities as required to generatesales.Who Are WeTheGrounds Guys began with a single vision shared between 10 brothers. Despite these exciting developments, our original vision for hard workand value has remained the same.Sales RepresentativeHigh Payoff Activities:The Sales Representative will pursue and cultivate strong professional relationships with ourcustomers by analyzing the market, identifying viable target clients, reachingdecision-makers, and intensely focusing on turning leads into accounts andsales. They will estimate and selllandscape maintenance services to new and existing customers through basecontracted services and enhancements.They will visit each client’s property to assess servicedelivery vs. the SOW and customer expectations.The Sales Representative will provide a detailed report to thecustomer and follow-up with each customer to ensure satisfaction with services. Maintain customer accounts.AdditionalResponsibilities:Develop sales strategies and help develop sales presentation materials. Deliver effective sales presentations inperson. Professionally conduct meetingswith clients. Plan and manageappointment schedules with office administrator. Maintain exceptional internal and external customercommunication. Maintain accurate salesdocumentation. Maintain up-to-dateknowledge of all products and services and stay current with market trends. Addressclients' questions, comments, and concerns to ensure a high level of clientsatisfaction.Wage Range: Base Salary Plus Commission: 5 to 8% of SalesReportsto: The Sales Representative willreport directly to the Owner.Preferred Skills, Experience &Requirements:Extensive face-to-face selling experience in theGreen IndustryExperience managing multiple projects and able tomulti-task in a large territoryProficient with computer software programs includingMS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Experience with a CRM tool (Salesforce) beneficialProven track record of sales goal attainment in alonger selling cycle environmentHighly competitive, positive, and results drivensales personExcellent presentation skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills tobuild client and solution/value-based proposalsLandscape Design & Horticultural experiencepreferredBachelor’s Degree or equivalent Landscape Industrywork experience preferredCoach-able, trainable, and have a good personalityLocal knowledge and contacts in one or more marketsegments preferred3-5 years’ experience in the Landscape serviceindustry, Landscape design/build industry or similar industry with commercialLandscape contract sales desirableThe Grounds Guys are an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint
