Manufacturing Engineer

Electrical Manufacturing EngineerPerforms in a collaborative environment to develop and implement electrical manufacturing processes, procedures and layouts for assembly and installations. Drives adoption of new technologies and processes (automation, robotics, computer aided manufacturing software, etc.) to achieve greater efficiency, cost reduction and quality improvement. Creates and analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize electrical manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Evaluates performance of equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.What's In It For You:Flexible work schedules to comprehensive benefits investing in your future and securityCompany culture that empowers employees to think big, lead with a growth mindset, and make the impossible a realityBasic Qualifications:Bachelors degree in STEM required to applyActive Secret security clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years AND the ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start date with LMExperience in an engineering disciplineExperience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production operationsExperience in electrical harness design review, fabrication, and installationExperience supporting shop floor production activities and rapidly resolving constraints to minimize production impactExperience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to deliveryProficient working in 3D modelling software (CATIA (preferred), Creo, SolidWorks, Nx), product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) programs (e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) programs (iBASEt, SAP, etc.)Experience with MRP system or SAP or other Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applicationExperience with planning functions including Computer Aided Production Planning (CAPP) and Shop Order Maintenance (SOM)Pay Information:Full-Time Salary Range: $95900.00 - $178100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
