Job Title: Sales Business Analyst Reports To: Director – Data Development Job Summary: The Sales Business Analyst will provide crucial data-driven insights to support Sales Management in growing revenue and market share for Linder’s core construction products. This role involves analyzing data from internal and external sources, creating actionable reports, and collaborating with various departments to optimize sales strategies. The goal is to provide the sales team with the intelligence and tools needed to drive business decisions and improve performance. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and consolidate EDA, UCC, and Probability to Buy data into actionable target customer lists for each territory. Interpret market share data to identify improvement opportunities and support OEM programming discussions. Sales Performance Management: Review CRM notes and quotes, developing follow-up reporting to increase accountability within sales teams. Assist in creating a sales scorecard to track performance, identify improvement areas, and motivate internal growth. Pricing Strategy & Collaboration: Support Fleet Operations by updating machine notes and pricing for rental, used, and aged new assets. Assist with pricing aged inventory and collaborate with GM Marketing on social media for CE marketing efforts. Participate in OEM sales training to enhance knowledge and better support the sales team. Travel to branches to conduct ride-alongs, gaining insights into market needs and providing actionable feedback for sales improvements. Education, Experience & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Marketing, Sales, Business Management, or related fields preferred. Equivalent experience considered. Experience in sales or business analysis within a sales-driven organization. Proficiency in CRM systems, Excel, and Social Media Apps (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter). Knowledge of construction equipment, maintenance, and customer needs is a plus. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Additional Information: Travel Requirements: Occasional travel to branches and customer locations.
