Housekeeping Aid Supervisor

DutiesSupervises and assigns housekeeping staff, establishes work schedules and priorities, and ensures adequate staffing, equipment, materials, and resources to maintain hospital/clinic sanitation standards.Inspects hospital areas to ensure proper cleaning, disinfection, infection-control practices, equipment sanitation, and timely reporting of needed repairs.Trains and develops housekeeping personnel in routine and advanced cleaning techniques, isolation procedures, contaminated-area cleanup, proper handling of soiled linen, and environmental sanitation practices.Manages housekeeping operations, including linen inventory and records, cleaning and paper supplies, uniforms, equipment needs, work schedules, leave schedules, requisitions, and improvements to procedures and workflow.Performs personnel management duties, including performance appraisals, addressing complaints and disciplinary issues, recommending personnel actions, approving leave and occasional overtime, reassigning staff during emergencies, and implementing continuous training programs.
