Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Med/Surg

Night shift, 7 PM - 7 AM.

Contract may be canceled up to 3 times, with the option to take call during low census periods. Holiday coverage is required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med-Surg and Telemetry.
• General Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS.
• Experience with EMR Meditech, Pumps Alaris, and Meds Omnicell preferred.
• Patient ratios: Med-Surg/OBS 1:6, Step Down 1:4.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg and Telemetry setting.
• Monitor and manage patient's vital signs and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.
