Application Developer

Job TitleResponsible for creating custom applications primarily but not limited to the Microsoft Power Platform to provide gains in automation of business processes. This position will conduct systems analysis and programming activities related to the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs to support business operations as well as design, build and integrate solutions to meet the needs of the business.Day In The LifeDevelop applications that streamline internal business processesWork with existing legacy applications to convert (if necessary), extend and enhance functionality, as well as developing new applicationsPerform unit testing after completion of the development tasks, initiate end to end testing and validation in a development environmentWork on assigned tasks to completion, correctly and in assigned timePerform problem determination for correcting defectsAssist Solutions Architect in designing solutions for enhancements or during problem resolutionComplete estimates as to how much work is involved for all the project tasks, and perform analysis to determine how the solution can be achieved with the best design solutionCommunicate proposed designs and progress on the work to team leads, and team membersMay work with users or Business Analysts to determine requirements and design for systemsConducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyWhat You'll NeedB.A. Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.2-5 years of .Net web application development experienceExperience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML as it relates to developing, maintaining, and consuming other application's APIsExtensive experience in developing on the Microsoft Power Platform including but not limited to: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query, Power BI, DataverseStrong operational knowledge of Office 365 apps including but not limited to: SharePoint, Azure, Excel, Dynamics 365, MS TeamsWhat Will Set You ApartExperience developing PowerApps canvas/model-driven appAbility to create business processes automation with Power Automate/Logic AppsUnderstanding of the ALM for PowerApps SolutionsA clear understanding of PowerApps formulas and development methods.The compensation range for this role is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
