General description of job: Coordinate logistics to lead our fast-paced shipping department in meeting daily customer demands by fulfilling orders on time and providing outstanding service on shipping options. Keep up to date on all small carrier changes, regulations, and customer needs. Pull, package, and invoice daily orders within time constraints, maintaining part traceability by lot number. Balance and close out each day. Review and follow up on department MRO items, claims, and carrier issues. Handle FCL & LTL freight for vendors. Perform various projects as they occur and as time permits; package bulk stock, reorganize parts shelves, physical counts, etc. The majority of the job is standing and walking.

Major Tasks Include: • Generate all shipping documents, including all necessary papers for international shipments, FedEx, DHL, and UPS.

• Perform all shipping tasks required to create satisfied customers, internal and external.

• Maintain accurate shipping documentation

• Perform all tasks in a timely and economical manner. • Communicate with and support the Sales and Shipping Team. • Follow policies and procedures in the Deltrol Employee Manual, Quality Assurance Manual, Safety Manual, Customer Routing Letters, and shipping and sales procedures.

Hours and Reporting: • Reports directly the Materials Supervisor • Hours are generally 6:30am to 3:00pm with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch - Monday thru Friday.

• Overtime may be offered

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future for employment visa status

• Experience in leading and coaching small teams • Desire for continuous improvement and growth • Experience in customer service and computers or equivalent training • Writing, math, and communication skills • Ability to work effectively with other teams • Ability to manage small projects personally and work independently • Ability to make decisions on packaging to protect quality of customer parts • Organizational skills and detail-oriented • Ability to work within a deadline under pressure and handle interruptions • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 30 to 50 lbs. occasionally

• Warehousing/parts storage or fulfillment experience • Shipping experience with UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL

• Forklift Driving Experience (Stand-up Reach and Sit Down)
