Logistics Coordinator

responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods, materials, and products from suppliers to customers work closely with various departments within the company to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and according to customer specifications responsible for tracking shipments, managing inventory levels, and resolving any issues that may arise during the shipping process communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure shipments are delivered on time and according to customer specifications prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs documentation track shipments and manage inventory levels resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, including delays, damages, and lost shipments maintain accurate records of all shipping transactions monitor transportation costs and work to minimize expenses stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments Requirements A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not required At least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management is preferred Experience working in a transportation or logistics company is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of transportation regulations and customs requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Experience using transportation management software is a plus Fluency in English is required Fluency in additional languages is a plus Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in logistics and supply chain management, with a strong focus on coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with transportation regulations.
