Serve as a key resource for current and prospective clients, ensuring seamless transport solutions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide competitive pricing, outstanding customer service, and efficient operational support for surface transportation within the USA and cross-border logistics involving the USA, Mexico, and Canada. Responsible for the smooth movement of assigned shipments including booking cost effective trailers, tracking shipments, updating in-transit shipments, closing and rating the shipment daily. Provide quotes for assigned customers and sales department as necessary and assist with new projects to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist Department employees in the generation of various weekly and monthly reports, including month end billing if necessary. Provide back up support within department during busy periods, vacations and unexpected employee absences. Support Surface Logistics Project Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Support department and team where and when needed. Employment Hours Full-time, with potential overtime hours when business volume and/or time sensitive matters dictate, especially at accounting month end.
