\n About this role: \n

\n

\n Intermountain Health is seeking a Nocturnist Critical Care physician to join a team of experienced intensivists to work in the state-of-the-art facility at LDS Hospital, a 262-bed level II Certified Stroke Center, known for its clinical excellence, technological advancements, and focus on patient-centered care.\n

\n \n

\n You can anticipate working in the ICU as an equal member of multi-disciplinary teams supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients. The pulmonary and critical care team is currently made up of 10 physicians and 6 APPs.\n

\n

\n In this role you can anticipate:\n

\n

\n

\n
• Practicing at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah
\n
• Scheduled hours of 5pm-7:30am; 5-6 nightshifts per 4-weeks (part-time, 0.5 FTE)
\n
• 16-bed adult mixed medical/surgical ICU, caring for medical patients, general surgery, trauma (Level II ASC Trauma Hospital Accreditation), hematologic malignancies, and bone marrow transplant patients
\n
• Shared-services critical care model, supported by critical care advanced practice providers
\n
• Potential for up to 0.5 FTE nocturnist tele critical care available
\n
• LDS Hospital scheduled to open doors on new building in Downtown SLC in 2030
\n

• Competitive Compensation: $240,000 annual base salary
\n
• Incentives: $15,000 starting bonus, up to $10,000 relocation bonus (if applicable)

\n What you’ll bring: \n

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
\n
• Residency training in Internal Medicine
\n
• Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
\n
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
\n
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
\n
