Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Hourly Pay: $28/HR - $30/HR

Maxim Healthcare in Buffalo, NY is hiring for LPNs and RNs for Private Duty Nursing in the Erie/Niagara County area, 1:1 in-home patient care. We are urgently hiring for all shifts. No homecare experience required!

Case needs will vary in acuity, most commonly caring for G-Tube, Tracheostomy, or ventilator patients. Open needs for days, evenings and night shifts. Fulltime and part time positions available.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patients condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
